Sachin is a very hardworking student and follow the instructions very strictly while preparing for the computer based IELTS exam.
However, on the exam day, unto his surprise, the Speaking part was held first and got nervous.
Then, on top of that, technical difficulties arise in the computer system which produced further delay and disturbance.
Sachin was not able to concentrate fully in the Reading and Listening sections and score much lower than my expectations. His average score in both sections was not less than 26 and reaching 6 or 6.5 was not that hard.
Besides all that, one of his close relatives died and that further loosened his grip on the IELTS Tips & Tricks.
After these turmoils, Sachin did well in the Writing sections even after missing his own opinion in the essay writing task. He was quite confident in Letter Writing.
Consider Sachin’s circumstances, I think he did remarkable in achieving an overall 6.0. His 5.5 score in Writing and 6.0 in Speaking were massive achievements.
The student is planning to continue for another 9 hours and feeling much more encouraged and motivated.
I will refine my IELTS lesson plans according to his needs and let his score 6 overall in the next attempt as he was just short of 0.5 marks in the last attempt.
